Movement Pathway
Movement
Build strength, confidence and resilience in your body.
Some people come to Movement because they want structured training. Others want to move more without it feeling like exercise. And some just want to feel steadier on their feet.
Whatever brought you here, our movement sessions are designed to meet you where you are — building strength, balance and confidence at a pace that suits you.

Movement practices that combine strength, mobility and body awareness
Physio-Led Pilates
Build strength, move well, and feel more at home in your body.
This small-group Pilates class is led by a qualified physiotherapist, combining traditional Pilates principles with a deeper understanding of movement, injury, and recovery. The focus isn't on perfecting positions — it's about helping you move with more control, strength, and confidence in a way that works for your body.
With a maximum of 6 people per class, there's space for individual guidance, support, and progression over time.
What to expect
- A small, supportive group (max 6)
- A focus on strength, stability, and control
- Exercises adapted to your level
- A calm, structured pace (no fast or high-impact work)
- Gradual progression as your confidence builds
Particularly suited to
- People returning to movement after injury
- Those managing ongoing aches or stiffness
- Anyone who feels unsure where to start
- Those who prefer a more guided approach to Pilates
Before joining the class
You are invited to attend a 1:1 assessment. This gives us time to:
- Understand how you move
- Talk through any injuries, pain, or concerns
- Make sure the class is the right fit for you
- Offer guidance on how to adapt exercises where needed
It means you won't be walking into a class guessing what's right for you — you'll already have a clear starting point.
Book a Pilates AssessmentIyengar-Inspired Yoga
Ana's classes draw inspiration from the Iyengar tradition, with a strong focus on alignment, strength and muscular engagement. Rather than moving quickly from pose to pose, the practice emphasises stability, precision and building capacity in the body over time.
Ana makes thoughtful use of props such as blocks and straps to make postures more achievable and to help students understand how to engage muscles safely and effectively.
The small class size allows for personalised attention and guidance throughout the session. This approach is suitable for a wide range of abilities and encourages curiosity about how your body moves and supports itself.

You can stand, sit, sway, shuffle, take breaks or simply listen. Chairs are always available and there is no expectation to keep up.
This session is particularly suited to people who enjoy music and movement but don't feel at home in traditional fitness or dance classes.
